About the character:

Princess Schala hails from the kingdom of Zeal, one of the most advanced civilizations in the world. The kingdom of Zeal is situated on an obligatory floating island (every RPG has one).

The people of Zeal call themselves the Enlightened Ones, because they can use magic, as opposed to the Earthbound Ones beneath them who cannot. Schala’s willingness to accept all her fellow humans as equals is something of an unusual trait among her people, even more so because her mastery of magic is substantial even for an Enlightened One.
